Geneva, Ill.-based Roquette America Inc., a global leader in renewable, plant-based raw materials, has forged a strategic partnership with Continental Ingredients Canada (CIC) and plans to build a global platform for functional ingredients, effective April 2014.

Located in Oakville, Ontario, CIC is a privately-owned company that specializes in the design and application of functional food ingredient systems for food and beverage products. It will now service Roquette products in Canada.
