Reading Bakery Systems, Robesonia, PA, announced it is expanding its oven manufacturing facility in Robesonia to meet increased demand for the company’s commercial ovens. The expansion, which is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2015, will double the existing Oven Works manufacturing facility to 38,000 square feet and include a 480-square-foot, environmentally controlled paint booth.

“Although we just opened the Oven Works manufacturing facility in 2012, the increased demand for our products has warranted another expansion,” says Joseph Zaleski, president of RBS.

According to Travis Getz, RBS vice president of operations, who is supervising the expansion, the new facility will include three main areas: oven manufacturing, welding, fabrication and assembly; material cutting (metals and plastics); and staging and storage. Fourteen employees work in the new area.
