New Products:

Pretz: Pretz sticks from Ezaki Glico U.S.A. have a texture similar to that of pretzels and are completely coated with one of five savory seasonings.

Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups: Introduced just in time for National Pepperoni Pizza Day on Sept. 20, Farm Rich’s Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups offer consumers a quick-and-easy mini meal or snack.

Biena Habanero Chickpea Snacks: Biena Foods developed its Habanero Chickpea Snacks for fans who said they wanted a little heat in their favorite roasted chickpea snack.

T.G.I. Friday’s Sweet Potato Skins: Sweet Potato Skins have joined Inventure Foods’ line of T.G.I. Friday’s Potato Skins Snacks.

Tate’s Bake Shop Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies: Mint Chocolate Chip is one of three new cookie flavors recently introduced by Tate’s Bake Shop.

New Ingredients:

Sodium-reduction solutions: Bell Flavors & Fragrances has extended its line of ReduxSo sodium reduction solutions.

Powdered sourdough starter: BackNatur Lepold’s new sourdough starter—BackNatur Trockenferment aktiv—will be on display at iba 2015 in Munich.

New Equipment:

Tray denester: MGS Machine Corp. will introduce its Vortex high-speed tray denester this month at PACK EXPO Las Vegas.

High sanitary depositor: Yamato Corp.’s high sanitary multipoint depositor accommodates a variety of packaging formats and tray patterns.
