Building relationships, collaborating, learning, and idea-sharing to advance the baking industry are the hallmarks of the American Bakers Association (ABA) Annual Convention. In 2017, ABA will celebrate these traits of the membership and the bright future of the baking industry at this year’s gathering in Boca Raton, Fla., with the convention theme “Stronger Together.”

“ABA is fortunate to have a membership that recognizes the importance of engagement and joining their peers at the table to address the issues impacting the industry as well as to learn from one another. The annual convention provides a valuable forum for these interactions,” said ABA President and CEO Robb MacKie. “With the merger exploration of ABA and the Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturer’s Association (B&CMA) successfully moving forward, we also eagerly anticipate celebrating ‘Stronger Together’ with B&CMA as we look toward providing higher levels of service and value to our respective memberships as a new organization.”

Over 500 of the baking industry’s leaders will come together for the 2017 Stronger Together Convention, March 26-29, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, which will be preceded by the B&CMA Annual Convention co-located at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The 2017 ABA Convention speaker lineup includes high-profile leaders, valued customers, and business experts who are poised to impart their knowledge and lessons learned to this prestigious group of attendees. In addition to key takeaways applicable to their respective companies, convention attendees will have an opportunity to develop new connections, reinforce existing relationships and exchange ideas during three days of high energy networking events. “Stronger Together” will be evident throughout the convention as attendees learn about the issues in need of industry-wide engagement and hear from respected figures on the power of coming together and growing stronger as an industry.
