As the second of five seasonal bakery releases this year, the Spring Seasonal Collection features two new indulgent flavors and two returning consumer favorites, the brand says.

The snack mashes up two consumer favorites: warm, soft pretzel and a mini dog, then encrusts them in a crispy three-cheese blend served with a free cheese dip.

The assortment includes a Dubai Chocolate Egg Doughnut, two Hide & Go Peep treats, and a Lemon Buttermilk Bar. 

The baked goods include 4 g of fiber and 7-8 g of plant-based protein per bar, and are non-GMO and gluten-free.

Starting at $4.25, the mix is currently available at H-E-B and the Kroger family of stores, and will be available at Target and other participating retailers nationwide later this spring.

Exhibitors in this area will include equipment suppliers Aasted, Sollich, Theegarten-Pactec, Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate, Bühler, and Coperion.

Debuting on April 2 as the doughnut of the month, What's Up Doc is a glazed carrot cake filled and topped with cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with walnuts and cinnamon sugar.

The treat is dipped in blue vanilla-flavored icing, sprinkled with a mix of Oreo crunch and white nonpareils, finished with a cookies-and-creme flavored buttercream dollop, and topped with a red chevron nod to the NASA logo.

Each treat is 100% dairy-, egg-, and animal-product-free—making them an option for a wide range of audiences, the brand says.

This spring-inspired take on the snack features bright, tangy lemon crème layered between two crisp vanilla cookies.
