Perfetti Van Melle USA is debuting many new candies, and also announcing some returning flavors, all of which will be displayed at its Sweets & Snacks Expo booth (#5801).

This week's Fun Friday includes Mentos' "Freshmaker" jingle, Wendy's new Frosty varieties with Pop-Tarts and Oreo mix-ins, Butterfinger's video game partnership, McDonald's most popular menu items by state, and Oreo's Cherry Blossom Matcha Thins contest.

The 93-year-old company manufactures taffy products, lollipops, and gum.

The air fresheners will be available in four fragrances: Mentos Air Freshener Grape, Mentos Air Freshener Mint, Mentos Air Freshener Strawberry, and Mentos Air Freshener Pineapple.

The product is a non-sparkling drink with low sugar that contains jelly bites, in a 240 ml can format. 

Gum manufacturers say focusing on innovation and amping up marketing efforts have helped the category correct course after two difficult years during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In November, Perfetti Van Melle USA, Inc. will launch a Berry flavor of its Mentos Gum with Vitamins, a gum first launched in 2021 in a Citrus variety.

The new paperboard bottle holds 80 pieces of gum and is available at Walmart stores in the U.S.
