The Hampton Grocer, the small-batch granola brand known for its clean ingredients, has introduced Lacnola—the first clean-label granola made with proven galactagogues to support lactation. 

The snack is crafted for new moms by founder Samantha Perlstein, a mom of two (including a 9-week-old baby girl). Perlstein created Lacnola after struggling to find nourishing, milk-boosting snacks that didn’t taste like cardboard, the brand says.

"When I became a new mom, I quickly realized how hard it was to care for myself while caring for my baby,” she shares. “I couldn't find time to shave my legs—let alone worry about finding nourishing foods that would also help my milk supply and give me lasting energy. Sugar-filled lactation cookies and bars just didn’t fit the bill. I was also looking for something that was made whole food ingredients. When I couldn’t find it, I made it myself," Perlstein shares.

Lacnola includes:

• Organic gluten-free oats
• Organic brown flax seeds
• Almonds and organic pumpkin seeds
• Organic maple syrup
• The superfood morinaga

The new snack is also fenugreek-free (gentler on digestion and baby's tummy, the bran dsays), and is non-GMO, vegan, kosher, dairy-free, and gluten-free friendly. 

Whether you’re snacking straight from the bag at 3:00 am or sprinkling it over yogurt between feedings, Lacnola is a tool to help moms feel nourished, supported, and seen, the brand says. “It’s more than just granola,” Perlstein says. “It’s something that helped me take care of myself while I was taking care of my baby—and now I hope it helps other mamas too.”   

Founded in 2020, The Hampton Grocer began as a farm-to-door delivery service in the Hamptons and quickly grew into a nationally recognized granola brand.
