Pringles introduces smoky flavor trio
Sharp White Cheddar crisps and new Mingles puffs also hit shelves in September.

Pringles is introducing several new flavors this September, including a trio of smoky crisps and an expansion of its puffed snack line, Pringles Mingles. The additions reflect the brand’s continued experimentation with sweet, savory, and smoky profiles.
The new Smoky collection includes:
- Smoky Bacon: Features hickory smoke and pork-inspired notes.
- Smoky Mesquite BBQ: Combines barbecue sweetness with tangy undertones.
- Smoky Cheddar: Blends applewood smokiness with cheddar cheese.
Alongside the Smoky collection, Pringles is also launching a fourth new crisps flavor—Sharp White Cheddar, which offers a rich, slightly nutty flavor with a touch of acidity.
Pringles is also adding two new flavors to its Pringles Mingles puffed snack lineup, also hitting the shelves in September:
- Cinnamon & Sugar: The brand’s first sweet flavor since 2016 will be released with limited-time seasonal packaging during the holiday season.
- Jalapeño & Queso: Combines creamy cheese with mild heat from jalapeño.
"At Pringles, we're constantly thinking of new ways to satisfy our fans' cravings, and bringing this suite of sweet, smoky, savory flavor to shelves is an exciting expansion of the unique snacking experiences Pringles offers," says Mauricio Jenkins, U.S. head of marketing, Pringles. "With the addition of the Smoky collection to our offerings, launching Sharp White Cheddar, and creating even more poppable Pringles Mingles flavors to share, we hope our fans find an exciting new snack to enjoy for any occasion."
To coincide with the launch, Pringles has partnered with Chef Calvin Eng, owner of Bonnie’s in Brooklyn, to create a dish inspired by the Smoky Mesquite BBQ flavor. The dish, Smoky Mesquite BBQ Bok Gop, features crispy whole squab marinated with the crisps and five spice salt, and will be available for a limited time at Bonnie’s starting September 2.
“I love to riff on classic Cantonese banquet dishes,” says Eng. “Nothing is more nostalgic to me than eating a platter of crispy chicken served with five spice salt and Pringles at a Chinatown banquet hall.”
