Jackson’s expands Muskego, WI facility
The snack-maker grows its local workforce by 57 employees, with plans to hire more.

Jackson’s, a U.S.-based snack manufacturer specializing in avocado oil-cooked chips, marked the expansion of its Muskego, WI, production facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 17.
The event included remarks from co-founder Megan Reamer and CEO James Marino, who outlined the company’s growth trajectory. “In parallel to the Phase 2.5 expansion, we started Phase 3, which led us to expand into the entire approximate 130,000 square feet of this building,” says Marino. “The first phase completion, of which is what we're celebrating today, is an entirely new production and office space—nearly twice the size of Phases 1 and 2 combined.”
Highlights of the expansion include:
- Workforce growth: Jackson’s has increased its local workforce from 50 to 107 employees over the past year and plans to hire 25 more.
- Retail distribution: Products are available at Costco, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Walgreens, Kwik Trip, and other retailers. Walmart distribution will expand from 500 to 4,000 stores beginning October 11.
- Product positioning: Jackson’s chips are made with avocado oil, contain no seed oils, and use whole-food ingredients.
- Sourcing and sustainability: The company partners with WI farmers and reports efforts to reduce waste and energy use while sourcing responsibly.
- Sales performance: Jackson’s is currently the top-selling item in its category over the last 52 weeks, with flavors such as Carolina BBQ, Spicy Jalapeño, and Farmhouse Ranch contributing to growth.
- Industry recognition: The company was named one of Instacart’s fastest-growing emerging brands of 2024.
Founded by Megan and Scott Reamer after their son Jackson was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder, the company began with homemade sweet potato chips and has since scaled nationally.
