Antonina's introduces individually wrapped gluten-free treats

The muffins and brownies are intended for sale at retail and convenience stores.

Antonina’s Gluten-Free Bakery has launched individually wrapped muffins and brownies designed for retail and convenience channels. Each 3.5 oz item is Certified Gluten-Free, Kosher, and free from nuts, peanuts, and artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Products are baked in a dedicated gluten-free facility and ship frozen with a 270-day shelf life.

The launch responds to growing demand for safer gluten-free bakery options. According to Beyond Celiac, 48% of Americans are aware that people with celiac disease often eat before events or bring their own food to avoid cross-contact. This behavior points to missed impulse sales at coffee bars, checkout counters, and grab-and-go sets.

Available muffin flavors include Cinnamon Chip, Triple Chocolate, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Chocolate Chip. Each case contains four display-ready caddies with six muffins per caddy. Brownies are available in Double Chocolate, with four caddies per case and 12 brownies per caddy. Ambient shelf life is 10 days for muffins and 21 days for brownies.

Sealed packaging helps reduce cross-contact risk, supports freshness, and enables fast merchandising without back-of-house prep. Suggested merchandising locations include coffee bars, checkout racks, bakery freezers, grab-and-go cases, micro-markets, and breakroom coolers.

“Antonina’s proprietary gluten-free flour blend makes muffins and brownies so good that gluten-free and gluten-eating customers alike enjoy them,” says Robert Kidd, vice president of sales and marketing. “This versatility lets retailers stock one muffin or brownie for all customers, protecting margins while serving a wide range of shoppers.”

Antonina’s products are currently sold in more than 5,000 stores nationwide and are available through distributors including US Foods and Lipari Foods, or directly from the company.
