Archer opens Vernon, VA facility
The site will enable production of more than 36 million lbs. of meat sticks annually.

Archer has opened a new manufacturing facility in Vernon, CA, expanding its production capacity to meet growing demand for its clean-label meat snacks. The 140,000-sq-ft plant is located near downtown Los Angeles and complements the company’s existing facility in San Bernardino.
“Opening this facility in Los Angeles, the city that has been integral to our growth story, is a major milestone for Archer,” says Eugene Kang, founder and CEO. “This expansion ensures we can meet increased demand for our meat sticks, while also setting us up for long-term category leadership by investing in our own infrastructure.”
The new facility is expected to add more than 200 jobs, bringing Archer’s total workforce in the region to over 350. The Vernon site will enable production of more than 36 million lbs. of meat sticks annually—equivalent to over 1 billion Archer Mini Sticks.
The opening comes amid strong growth for the brand. Archer reports a 90% year-over-year sales increase, compared to 5.8% growth for the overall $3.3 billion meat snack category. Sales of Archer meat sticks rose by 187.4%, positioning the company as a key contributor to category expansion.
The Vernon facility supports Archer’s long-term strategy to scale operations and respond to consumer demand for high-protein, clean-label, and convenient snack options.
