General Mills goes regal with 'Bridgerton' baking kits
The brand is also debuting a Petite Blueberry Scone with Lemon Icing.
Just in time for the highly anticipated return of Netflix's Bridgerton, General Mills is embracing teatime with an expanded collection of Bridgerton-inspired baking mixes, the company says.
Leading the season is a new debutante, the brand comments: Pillsbury’s new Bridgerton Petite Blueberry Scone with Lemon Icing—reportedly a refined yet approachable take on classic British tea-time fare, featuring blueberry scones finished with a bright, citrusy lemon icing.
Betty Crocker is also bringing back consumer-favorite Bridgerton-inspired baking kits, giving viewers a suitable way to recreate the indulgence of Regency-era entertaining, the company adds. Returning offerings include:
- Petite Strawberry Scone Kit, with strawberry-studded scones layered with sweet jam
- Crème Puff Kit, featuring light, airy puffs filled with blush pink whipped cream
- Petite Sponge Cake Kit, inspired by the classic Victoria Sponge with layers of strawberry jam and whipped cream
Produced by Shondaland for Netflix, Bridgerton Season 4 will be released in two parts: Part 1 on Jan. 29 and Part 2 on Feb. 26.
