NYC's Di Fara Pizza expands its frozen lineup

The product will be available at 1,800 Target locations and 10 retailers in total.

Di Fara Pizza, a Brooklyn pizza joint “known as the Brooklyn Legend” that is now in the CPG category, is preparing for a full nationwide rollout on March 1.

Previously concentrated on the East Coast, Di Fara earned prominent placement on 1,100 endcaps at Target for the Big Game. With this expansion, Di Fara pizza will be available in 1,800 Target locations and across 10 retailers in total, fulfilling founder Dom Di Marco’s dream to give more people a taste of Di Fara and bringing his pizza to homes across the country, the brand says.

In just one year, Di Fara has experienced exponential growth across both retail doors and sales, it adds. Following that rapid momentum, Di Fara is projected to expand its retail distribution by more than 1,500% by the end of 2026. 

Sharing the quote from Tara Kastury, Head of Marketing for Di Fara below:

"Regarded as 'the holy grail of classic New York pizza' by New York Magazine and celebrated by loyal fans from around the world, Di Fara pies are rooted in tradition and crafted with care," says Tara Kastury, head of marketing. "Since 1965, our Midwood Brooklyn location on Avenue J has been at the heart of our community. We're so excited to announce that Di Fara pizzas are now in Targets nationwide—bringing a piece of that experience into homes around the country. We've seen a rise in consumer demand for authentic, restaurant quality foods using real ingredients. We take immense pride in using simple high-quality ingredients, including our 60-year-old Sunday sauce recipe to bring the authentic flavor of Di Fara to homes everywhere. Every pie reflects decades of craftsmanship and tradition, the same quality that earned Di Fara a double 9.4 from One Bite’s Dave Portnoy.”

All four Di Fara Pizza flavors will be available at Targets nationwide, including Classic Cheese, Vodka Sauce, Pepperoni, and Three Meat. This national expansion to a well-known retailer like Target allows consumers to get their hands on authentic New York-style, restaurant-quality pizzas straight from the frozen aisle, the brand finishes.
