Di Fara, an NYC pizzeria, has debuted the first-ever vodka sauce frozen pizza to hit the CPG market, it says.
Rooted in a 60-year legacy and reportedly long considered a gold standard in New York-style pizza, Di Fara’s newest innovation brings something completely fresh to the frozen aisle, the company notes. Made with hand-selected San Marzano tomatoes, a proprietary cheese blend, and freshly made dough, the new Vodka Sauce Pizza includes a creamy, house-made vodka sauce, developed in-house, and delivering nuanced heat and flavor depth not typically found in frozen, Di Fara adds.
“We’re always looking for ways to share a true slice of Brooklyn with more people—without compromising the quality we’re known for,” says Margaret DeMarco, co-owner of Di Fara. “This is the first time anyone’s put vodka sauce on a frozen pizza at this level. It’s a little rebellious, a little nostalgic, and 100% Di Fara.”
The new offering joins Di Fara’s growing frozen lineup, which includes Classic Cheese and Pepperoni, and continues the brand’s mission to raise the bar for what’s possible in the premium frozen space, it says.
The product is available in select retailers and online, with national distribution ramping up in the coming months.
