As consumers increasingly prioritize protein, Tyson Foods' Jimmy Dean brand is introducing a new lineup of high-protein options. The Jimmy Dean protein-focused portfolio expands beyond breakfast, offering high-protein options built for busy lifestyles and delivered in familiar formats consumers already like, the brand says.
“Protein has become a priority at all eating occasions, not just a breakfast consideration,” says Kristina Lambert, chief growth officer at Tyson Foods, parent company for the Jimmy Dean brand. “This new lineup builds on what people already trust and love about the Jimmy Dean brand by delivering great taste, convenience, and purposeful nutrition. It provides even more ways to fuel busy days.”
Jimmy Dean High Protein Sandwiches deliver 25 grams of protein each, making them the highest‑protein frozen breakfast sandwiches in the category, according to the company. The sandwiches are on bakery-style bread and are available in three varieties: Grilled Chicken Protein Ciabatta, Sausage on a Spiral Croissant, and Protein Breakfast Burger on Brioche.
