GoMacro launches its first new product format in six years
MacroSquares will be available in four flavors exclusively at Whole Foods Market.

GoMacro, the 20+ year old baked goods brand behind the MacroBar, is officially launching its first new product format in six years: the MacroSquare. It will be available in four flavors—Peanut Butter Chocolate, Caramel Almond, Dark Chocolate Nuts, and Berry White Chocolate—exclusively at Whole Foods Market nationwide, with DTC and more doors to come in the fall.
GoMacro spent more than three years creating a product that both grounds and satisfies to tackle that classic afternoon slump, the company notes, as experts say there's a natural circadian energy dip between 1-3 pm. With this aim, each bar layers crunchy nuts, creamy nut butters, and pumpkin seeds, is dipped diagonally in either chocolate or caramel, and then sprinkled with flaky sea salt for a fully sensory experience, the brand adds. Not only do 79% of people say texture impacts satisfaction when eating, but it keeps us present in those much-needed pauses, GoMacro says.
Each MacroSquare is certified organic, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and Non-GMO, and contains 200-220 calories and 7-8 g of protein per bar.
