ASB announces 2016 Innovation Awards winner
The American Society of Baking (ASB), Kansas City, MO, announced today that Intralox, LLC, New Orleans, is the winner of its 2016 Innovation Awards Program, which celebrates industry leaders and companies in the grain-based food industry for their innovative development and implementation of leading-edge products, equipment design and advancements in ingredient technology. The company received the honor for its DirectDrive System, which it submitted in the Operational Excellence Category.
Intralox will be showcased during MarketPlace 2016, which will be held in conjunction with ASB’s annual technical conference, BakingTech, in Chicago on Feb. 28 to March 1. MarketPlace show hours are 4–6 p.m. on Feb. 28 and 4–6:30 p.m. on Feb. 29 and March 1.
Innovation Awards submissions for 2016 were accepted in three categories: Operational Excellence, Eco Design and Sustainable Technologies, and Health, Wellness and Nutrition. Submissions were reviewed and scored by the ASB MarketPlace committee.
