Now is the time to plan for IBIE 2016

We have less than 200 days to go to the 2016 International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), taking place from October 8–11 in Las Vegas. Is your company preparing for the best the baking industry has to offer? If not, now is the time! Registration is open!

IBIE offers a tremendous level of educational opportunities. In reviewing the over 90 sessions offered at IBIE 2016, I believe the event has something for everyone. Whether you focus on food safety and sanitation, management, sales and marketing, research and development, plant operations, retail baking, or anything else related to the bakery industry, IBIE 2016 has a track for you.

The IBIE Expo floor will feature over 900 exhibitors showcasing the latest in baking equipment, technologies, ingredients and more, all designed to better your bakery business.

Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery is partnering with IBIE to produce the B.E.S.T. in Baking Program. B.E.S.T. (Becoming Environmentally Sustainable Together) in Baking will highlight companies who have made a conscious effort to make improvements that helps create a bakery environment that’s safe for generations to come. This completely revamped program is highlighted by showcasing the supply chain, with winners in seven distinctive categories: Equipment, Ingredients, Packaging and Logistics, plus three bakery categories, those with high volume ($50 million or more in annual sales), those with low to medium volume (less than $50 million in sales) and also a retail bakery category.

The nomination process has just begun and will conclude in early July. If your company has exemplary sustainability competencies, have them showcased at the banking industry’s biggest and brightest event, IBIE 2016.
