Boulart Inc. has expanded its line-up of already clean label breads to add USDA Organic certification to its core assortment. The USDA certification means that Boulart’s iconic ciabatta baguette is now available Organic, Parvé, Non-GMO and Vegan.

“We’ve always prided ourselves in having remarkably clean label bread that can be produced at high-velocity outputs, and our new organic production line only furthers our company’s mandate of transparency,” says Boulart founder and CEO, Michel Saillant. “We truly believe that consumers are ready for a change and we are committed to providing them with one.”

The news of certification comes hot on the heels of several other big announcements for Boulart, including recently its developed 3D factory tour experience that will launch at this year’s IDDBA (June 5th-7th, 2016). The experience is a mesmerizing full-scale tour of Boulart’s state-of-the-art factory in Lachine, QC, allowing vendors, media and industry professionals a never-before-seen look into how their bread is made. A full-scale app is to follow later this year.

Recent product launches include focaccia, small burger buns, thin sandwich buns and the FABI award-winning ciabatta bites. The brand’s 2016 Prepared Food program also offers retailers comprehensive support to enhance their prepared food offerings, replete with recipes, merchandising, and packaging.
