Kerry’s Rochester facility produces naturally-derived fermented ingredients utilized by manufacturers to deliver fresh taste over the shelf life of food and beverage products. According to Bryce Nesberg, human resources manager at Kerry’s facility in Rochester, “Demand for naturally-derived fermented ingredients is growing in North America and internationally. This increase in demand has resulted in the creation of approximately 60 new positions over three years at the plant. With our increased production capacity that this expansion will bring, more skilled roles will be created upon completion.” Kerry is seeking to become an employer of choice in Rochester.

Kerry is a market leader in the naturally derived fermented ingredients business with a long and trusted heritage in the industry. The company is committed to bolstering its position as the market leader by continuing to invest in its world-class processing infrastructure at Rochester. The expansion project includes the addition of a new spray dryer and two 10,000 gallon dryer feed tanks. The fermented ingredients produced by Kerry are utilized in the preservation of bakery products, deli meats, and various other food products.
