Mary’s Gone Crackers—an organic, gluten free, and plant-based snack brand—has welcomed Kaitlin Sass as senior research and development manager. In this role, Sass will plan and implement new research programs, oversee the development of new products, and leverage her previous experience at notable CPG companies to push the brand forward as a category leader.

“Sass brings industry knowledge and a passion for wholesome foods to our team,” said a representative with Mary’s Gone Crackers. “She will serve as a vital asset to the team as we continue to deliver on our promise to provide the healthiest, most delicious, and innovative snacks to all.”

Sass previously spent nearly two and a half years as the Senior Research and Development Food Scientist with Campbell Soup Company, and two years with Snyders-Lance, Inc. as the senior research and development technologist. In these roles, Sass was involved in every stage of product development, from concept to commercialization.

Prior to joining Snyders-Lance, Sass assumed the position of Technical Service Specialist at Diamond Foods, Inc., where she spearheaded the implementation of SQF systems through management of records, data entry, and developing food defense tools. Sass was later promoted to the position of Research and Development Technologist.

“Mary’s Gone Crackers has achieved great strides in the gluten-free and plant-based arenas, earning a reputation as a truly innovative brand,” said Sass. “Having achieved great traction already, I see even more opportunity for growth, and I look forward to leading relevant initiatives.”

Mary’s Gone Crackers will continue to build out their internal team as they achieve additional growth and sales wins. To learn more about Mary’s Gone Crackers, visit https://www.marysgonecrackers.com/, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
