The Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission conditionally approved the final site and operational plans for Phase 1 of the facility on May 11. Construction is expected to begin following the groundbreaking.

Governor Ralph Northam has announced that Flowers Foods, one of the nation’s largest producers of packaged baked foods, will invest $25 million to expand and transform its Lynchburg bakery into an organic facility, creating 15 new jobs.
