Campbell's Kettle Brand is tapping into global flavor trends with its latest innovation: Kettle Brand Chili Crisp chips. Inspired by the condiment that originates from Chinese cuisine known for its spicy, crunchy, and aromatic profile, Kettle Brand Chili Crisp combines notes of sweet chili, garlic, and savory spices.
"At Kettle Brand, we’re all about bold flavor experiences. Our new Chili Crisp chips are the perfect example of how we’re bringing the latest crave-worthy flavors to our signature kettle-cooked chips. Inspired by the global obsession with this spicy, crunchy condiment, we've created a chip that delivers a next-level fusion of heat, garlic and umami in every bite," says a Kettle Brand spokesperson.
Chili crisp is quickly becoming a pantry staple, and now it’s arriving in chip form. The flavor has surged in popularity, with a +125% increase in social media discussion over the past year, Kettle Brand says.
Chili Crisp is the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio, which has featured limited-edition flavors like Spicy Pimento Cheese, 7 Layer Dip, and Gochujang.
The limited-edition Kettle Brand Chili Crisp chips will be available at select retailers nationwide, including Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmers Markets for an SRP of $5.29.
