This week's Fun Friday kicks off with Papa Johns launching a croissant pizza. Although other companies, such as DiGiorno, have launched similar products, this one has an interesting bag component involved.
Papa Johns' Croissant Pizza pairs the texture of a buttery croissant with the flavors of Papa Johns pizza. Launching in nine markets, it will make its first appearance in the UAE. The brand has teamed up with KidSuper to design a limited-edition hot bag, the Papa Johns x Kid Super Hot Bag, inspired by the craftsmanship of the Croissant Pizza.
Reportedly known for concept-driven designs and a distinct visual language rooted in storytelling, KidSuper brings their approach to the custom-designed hot bag, exclusively for the Croissant Pizza, the brand says. The bag’s woven strap mirrors the braided crust of the pizza, the zipper curves in a crescent shape, and the soft edges mimic the folds of the pastry. The Papa Johns x KidSuper Hot Bag will make its official debut later this month during Paris Fashion Week Men's Spring/Summer 2026 (SS26), as part of the KidSuper show.
As the Croissant Pizza launches across the globe, the Papa Johns x KidSuper Hot Bag will hit runways, beaches, and exhibitions in select markets. Select customers in these destinations who order Croissant Pizza may receive their delivery in the Papa Johns x KidSuper Hot Bag—and if it arrives at their door, it’s theirs to keep.

Grillo's Pickles, PopUp Bagels announce Pickle de Gallo Schmear collab
After a sell-out first run in November in celebration of National Pickle Day, Grillo’s Pickles and PopUp Bagels are teaming up again, bringing together fresh from the oven bagels and all-natural, preservative-free pickles with Pickle de Gallo Schmear.
Coinciding with the annual fan-favorite Grillo’s pop-up shop on the Lower East Side (2 Rivington St.), the collab schmear will be available for a limited time this June.
Pickle de Gallo Schmear is a zesty, pickle-packed spread that sold out in just days last year. It combines the best of PopUp Bagels’ creamy schmears with one of Grillo’s top-selling products, Pickle de Gallo.
Consumers can find it June 12-18, or while supplies last, at all PopUp Bagel locations:
- New York: Downtown NYC, Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Midtown East, Penn Plaza, Williamsburg, Roslyn
- Connecticut: Greenwich, Newtown, Westport, Fairfield
- Massachusetts: Wellesley, Seaport
In addition, on June 15, there will be a Grillo's Pickle Pop-Up at 2 Rivington St., from 11 am until product sells out. Consumers can celebrate Father’s Day with pops at the Grillo’s Lower East Side pop-up shop with PopUp Bagels, Pickle de Gallo Schmear, and a limited-edition collab t-shirt (only 50 made).
HBO brings And Just Like That ... Hot Fellas Bakery to life in NYC
Fans of HBO's And Just Like That ..., the Sex and the City spinoff, can now experience Hot Fellas Bakery, a storyline from the show, in real life, with a brick-and-mortar bakery pop-up inspired by the series. The pop-up can be found at 35 Cooper Square, New York, NY.
What started as a scrappy pandemic pivot by a character quickly became a runaway success and one of the most talked-about moments of the second season. Anthony Marentino (played by actor and comedian Mario Cantone) made his entrepreneurial mark with "Hot Fellas," a NYC-based bread delivery service offering baked goods—and an even more "delicious" delivery crew. Admission to the pop-up bakery is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Open for two days only—Saturday, June 14 (10 am to 6 pm) and Sunday, June 15 (9 am to 6 pm)—this immersive activation transforms a scripted moment into an real-life experience for fans in the heart of New York City’s East Village. This limited-time experience is designed to place fans at the center of one of the series’ most iconic moments and welcome them into the world of the Max original series.
Designed to mirror the "Hot Fellas" bakery from the series, the pop-up includes house-baked breads and pastries, fresh coffee, cheeky branding, character-themed packaging, surprise-and-delight moments, and "Hot Fellas" merchandise, exclusively designed by the pop-culture brand THNK1994. Fans can step inside Marentino's carb-filled dream, snap social-worthy content, and even meet the real-life Hot Fellas themselves.
HBO has also partnered with Grubhub and Seamless to deliver fans the ultimate stream-and-snack experience, perfect for those who can’t make it to the pop up in the East Village. Over the weekend, fans in select areas of New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles can order the limited-edition Hot Fellas Bakery Bundle, an assortment of baked goods ideal to enjoy while watching the TV characters heat up summer in the city. While the Hot Fellas in tight blue suits aren’t included in the delivery, the bundle does include an exclusive Hot Fellas tote and bread towel. Only a limited number of bundles will be available each day, free of charge via Seamless (NYC) and Grubhub (Chicago and LA), so consumers will need to act fast.
Murdick's Fudge introduces "Shark Bite" product for National Fudge Day and Father's Day
Murdick’s Fudge on Martha’s Vineyard, the fudge maker with more than 135 years of history, recently unveiled one of its newest creations: The Shark Bite. The vanilla fudge with a hint of cranberry is just in time for National Fudge Day on June 16—and a few other notable days in June.
“They shot a movie on the island about a shark, and it came out in 1975. Ever since then, the Island has become synonymous with the movie and sharks,” says Mike McCourt, general manager of three locations of Murdick’s Fudge on Martha’s Vineyard. “The Shark Bite is our tongue-in-cheek way of celebrating National Fudge Day on June 16 and the anniversary of that film’s release on June 20. And, of course, Father’s Day on June 15.”
Murdick’s Fudge began when sailmaker Henry Murdick’s wife Sara created her own version of fudge on Mackinac Island in Michigan. Murdick’s Candy Kitchen opened that same year in 1887, and Murdick’s Fudge opened on Martha’s Vineyard in 1978. There, they have crafted their own identity on the island, which starts with homemade fudge. In addition to its three locations, Murdick’s Fudge has a newly revamped e-commerce website.
