Woodridge Snacks is welcoming another product to its family: Yuzu Zest Japanese Tempura Style Veggie Mix. The new product will officially launch at Expo West in March, showcasing its 30 g grocery bag size.

The snack features real zucchini, eggplant, and onions lightly coated in gluten-free rice flour—light & airy Japanese tempura style—then gently vacuum-fried to preserve their delicate crispness and garden-fresh taste, the brand says. 

Seasoned with a savory blend of zesty, citrusy yuzu, a dollop of wasabi for a touch of heat, a hint of garlic for warmth and depth, and a hint of smoky umami, Yuzu Zest Japanese Tempura Style Veggie Mix aims to represent a healthier snack alternative for holiday parties or for savoring at home, at work, during workouts or on vacation, the company adds.

The brand had a soft relaunch in October, when SPI West Port, the creators of Alo drink and Jenji Boba Tea, took over the company. All of the company's products are vegan, sustainably-sourced, non-GMO, low calorie, and free of artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
