Skjodt-Barrett debuts Signature Caramels & Fillings
The company's curated portfolio is reportedly designed for efficiency and scalability.

Skjodt-Barrett Foods, seller of caramel, bakery fillings, and custom ingredient innovation, has announced the launch of Signature Caramels & Fillings, a collection of its caramel and filling recipes built on more than forty years of formulation expertise, it says.
For decades, Skjodt-Barrett has been the quiet force behind many of North America’s most recognizable consumer brands, it notes. The company’s products have been included in innovations across grocery, natural, club, and foodservice channels—all through custom development.
Signature Caramels & Fillings opens the company’s formulation library to the broader market for the first time, offering a curated portfolio designed for operational efficiency, scalability, and unmatched consistency, Skjodt-Barrett Foods remarks.
“This launch represents a milestone moment for our business,” says Jamie Chiarotto, president and CEO of Skjodt-Barrett Foods. “For forty years, we’ve been developing custom solutions behind the scenes for leading brands. With our Signature Caramels & Fillings line, we’re making that expertise accessible, providing proven, high-performing recipes that customers can immediately trust, scale, and build upon.”
The portfolio includes five caramel SKUs—spanning indulgent, premium, reduced-sugar, and functional profiles—along with eight bakery fillings ranging from fruit-forward classics to rich, modern signature-style varieties. Each formula reflects thousands of development trials, long-term customer partnerships, and Skjodt-Barrett’s commitment to food science excellence, it says.
“Signature Caramels & Fillings are the best of what we’ve created over four decades, distilled into a lineup that removes friction for our customers,” says Guy Burton, chief revenue officer. “Brands want speed, precision, and reliability. This collection gives them a fast track to commercialize confidently with the same quality that has powered some of the biggest products in the industry.”
Beyond the product range, the launch signals a broader evolution for Skjodt-Barrett, it notes, as it continues investing in platform innovation and long-term category growth across both its Ontario and Indiana operations.
“Our heritage is craftsmanship, but our future is scale and innovation,” adds Chiarotto. “Our Signature line bridges both.”
