The 2016 International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE)—the largest and most-comprehensive event in the Western Hemisphere for the grain-based food industry—returns to Las Vegas October 8–11, where over 20,000 bakery professionals will gather to network, learn and check out the latest innovations in bakery supplies, ingredients, technology and equipment from more than 900 leading manufacturers and suppliers covering more than 700,000 square feet of exhibit space.
In today’s bakery industry, a diverse and wide-ranging collection of initiatives come together under the umbrella of environmental sustanability, touching on equipment design, bakery management, ingredient sourcing, product packaging, operational logistics and more.
The statement, “A passion for baking since 1918” is more than just a tag line for the Retail Bakers of America (RBA). It’s a bold statement that we, as an organization, live by every day.
Over 200 BEMA member companies will exhibit at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) this year, giving you the opportunity to meet with innovators in equipment, plant and process design, and ingredients.
It seems like just a few months ago that the curtain closed on another successful International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE). But we began planning for IBIE 2016 just a couple of months after the show wrapped up. Every group involved, including ABA, has been pressed to step up its game.
