ASB, cereals association partner for BakingTECH 2026
The organization's annual conference aims to drive progress and inspire innovation.

The American Society of Baking (ASB) has announced its continued partnership with the Milling & Baking Division of Cereals & Grains Association for BakingTECH 2026, to be held February 16–19 in Chicago. BakingTECH is ASB’s annual conference that aims to drive progress and inspire innovation by delivering technical solutions, insight, and expertise to the commercial baking industry since 1924. Over 1,000 baking professionals gather each year to exchange knowledge, explore cutting-edge innovations, and connect with peers in a dynamic learning environment.
The Milling & Baking Division will again host its Spring Technical Conference ahead of ASB’s opening sessions on Monday, February 16, 2026. The forum promises to deliver insights on new research, trends and challenges, and regulatory updates and food safety practices.
"We’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with ASB and bring the Milling & Baking Division’s Spring Technical Conference to BakingTECH once again," says Abhay Patwa, 2025 chair of the Milling & Baking Division. "It’s an incredible opportunity for our members to gain insights, build connections, and share knowledge that drives our industry forward."
"The synergy between ASB and the Milling & Baking Division helps us deliver even greater value to industry by combining technical learning and reducing travel expenses for a multi-day event that is co-located," says Tawnee Brydebell, deputy executive director of ASB. "This technical conference strengthens BakingTECH as the premier destination for ongoing and consistent technical education, networking, and professional growth in the commercial baking industry."
BakingTECH 2026 will feature the Formulation Floor (formerly MarketPlace), celebrate industry excellence with the Rising Baker Award and Baking Hall of Fame inductees, and connect the next generation by engaging with students from across the nation as they showcase their talent in the Product Development Competition.
More details on registration and the full agenda for BakingTECH 2026 will be available on August 19. For more information, visit asbe.org/bakingtech2026.
