Incredo names CEO and chair
Aldo Uva comes to the company with 35 years of leadership experience.

Incredo, formerly DouxMatok, has named Aldo Uva as its new CEO and chair. The appointment marks a major milestone for the global food tech company and signals its growing influence in the sugar reduction space.
Incredo is the developer of Incredo Sugar, a patented clean-label sweetener made from real sugar that enhances sweetness perception and enables up to 70% sugar reduction. The technology improves how sugar interacts with taste receptors, allowing manufacturers to maintain taste and functionality while reducing sugar content—without artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, or additives.
Uva brings more than 35 years of leadership experience from global consumer goods companies, including Ferrero, Nestlé, Sara Lee, Parmalat, and Firmenich. Most recently, he served as CEO of CSM, as well as COO and chief open innovation officer at Ferrero, where he led global innovation initiatives and delivered record growth.
“I’m thrilled to have joined Incredo. After years of witnessing groundbreaking innovations struggle to transition from lab to market, I made the decision to move from the boardroom to the front line,” says Uva. “At Incredo, I see an incredible opportunity to bridge that gap—transforming scientifically powerful technologies into commercially scalable ingredients with the potential for global impact. The future of food lies in the evolution of ingredients, and Incredo’s technology embodies that evolution.”
Uva’s appointment comes as Incredo scales its partnerships with global food manufacturers. With consumer demand for healthier, better-tasting products on the rise, the company is positioned to help brands reformulate or develop new offerings without compromising taste—redefining how the world experiences sweetness.
