A-Sha honors Lunar New Year with Pineapple Cake Gift Box

A-Sha Foods, maker of noodles and snacks, is welcoming the Lunar New Year with the launch of its Hello Kitty & Friends Lunar New Year Pineapple Cake Gift Box, a limited-edition release created to celebrate tradition, joy, and togetherness, the company says.
Often enjoyed and gifted during Lunar New Year celebrations beginning February 17, pineapple cake is traditionally associated with prosperity, good fortune, and a sweet future, the company adds. A-Sha’s interpretation brings this symbolism to life through Hello Kitty & Friends packaging featuring a Year of the Horse design, created exclusively for the season.
“Food has always been at the heart of how families celebrate Lunar New Year,” says A-Sha CEO Young Chang. “Pineapple cake symbolizes good fortune and new beginnings and pairing it with Hello Kitty & Friends makes this gift feel joyful, nostalgic, and fun to share with the people you love.”
The limited-edition gift box is available at Target, and includes eight individually wrapped pineapple cakes for a SRP of $9.99.
