Foodservice producers debut Valentine's Day offerings
Bakeries are celebrating the season by offering special sweet goods.

Restaurants are celebrating the season by offering special Valentine's Day sweet goods for their patrons.

Voodoo Doughnut
The company is sharing the love this Valentine’s season with a limited-time Valentine’s Box which features the return of a customer favorite while introducing indulgent new flavors designed to make Valentine’s Day even sweeter. The box is available for preorder and will be available in-store February 3–15, and includes the following doughnuts: Conversation Heart, Salted Caramel Brownie Bar, Red Velvet Cheesecake, and Pucker Up, which is dipped in sour cherry frosting.
Guests can pre-order the Valentine’s Box by calling the Voodoo Doughnut custom order line at (661) 786-6366. The Valentine’s collection will be available at participating locations in-store, for online order pick-up, and via third-party delivery. Additional Valentine’s-themed experiences and limited-time offerings will be announces throughout the season.

The bakery is rolling out a Pink Velvet menu for Valentine’s Day, featuring cakes, pastries, and macarons inspired by and crafted for the season of love. The assortment includes an Xoxo Strawberry Soft Cream Heart Cake, which has three layers of vanilla sponge cake, filled with strawberry soft cream and fresh strawberries; Pink Velvet Chocolate Ganache Cake, with layers of rich chocolate cake, plus whipped chocolate ganache and pink velvet soft cream, topped with a chocolate heart; and a Conversation Heart Macaron filled with pastry cream and fresh raspberries. Other offerings include pink velvet-themed dessert such as a Croissant Crisp, Supreme Croissant, King Cream Donut, and Mochi Donut.

The French-Korean bakery café is offering desserts with light, airy textures and flavors made for sharing or enjoying at home, it says, and the menu of treats debuts on February 1. Cakes include: Red Velvet Cake, with cream cheese frosting; Triple Berry Cloud Cake, with whipped cream and fresh berries; Strawberry Cloud Cake, with strawberry cream and fresh berries; and a Vanilla Choco Mousse Cake, layered with rich chocolate mousse, and finished with Valentine's decor. The restaurant's breads lineup includes: Raspberry Cloud Cream Donut, filled with smooth raspberry cream; a Raspberry Spiral Croissant, swirled with raspberry filling; and Raspberry and Vanilla Heart Macarons, filled with vanilla cream or raspberry.

The treats are made from Shipley's classic yeast donuts, hand-cut into hearts with strawberry, cherry, or chocolate icing, and topped with new Valentine’s Day-themed sprinkles. Now through Feb. 14, guests can purchase individual doughnuts starting at $1.49 each or a dozen for $13.49. Prices may vary by location. Festive Valentine's Day dozen boxes are also available and include six heart-shaped doughnuts (two of each variety) plus six round doughnuts in each of the three icing flavors, all decorated with heart-shaped sprinkles. Preordering is available beginning Jan. 29, and orders can be placed up to seven days in advance on the brand's website.
