Raw Nutrition launches its first-ever protein ‘candy bar’
The snack contains only 1–5 g of sugar, depending on the variety.

Raw Nutrition is debuting its first-ever protein bar that tastes like a candy bar, it says: Core 02. The snack delivers 20 g of protein, 1–5 g of sugar, and is gluten-free. The bar will be available on Raw’s website and on Amazon, in 4-pack (SRP: $11.49) and 12-pack (SRP: $34.99) formats.
At 230 calories, Core 02 is larger than many leading chocolate bars, the brand says, delivers five times the protein of a standard candy bar, and contains up to 96% less added sugar.
“Our goal was simple,” says Dom Iacovone, co-founder and CEO of Raw Nutrition. “Make a protein bar that people would actually choose, not just over other protein bars, but over candy bars. Not because they ‘should,’ but because it actually tastes better. We obsessed over flavor first, then built the macros to match. The result is something you’ll get addicted to but feel good about eating.”
The snack is available in four flavors of lower-sugar options, ranging from 1–2 g of sugar for macro trackers and fitness enthusiasts, alongside more indulgent options with 3–5 g of sugar. Flavors include Dark Chocolate Cookie Butter, Double Fudge Brownie, Peanut Butter Fudge, and Salted Caramel Pretzel.
