Mason Dixie Foods debuts bagel sandwich, pull-apart rolls
The company is aiming to meet demand for clean-label frozen foods.

Mason Dixie Foods, the natural frozen comfort food brand known for its clean-label biscuits, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and waffles, today announced the launch of two new products and expanded distribution across major retailers. The new Bagel Sandwich and Pull-Apart Parker Rolls continue the brand's commitment to simple, real ingredients without additives and preservatives, it says.
“From day one, we've been committed to clean label products made with real butter, fresh dairy and quality ingredients you'd find in your own kitchen," says Ayeshah Abuelhiga, founder and CEO at Mason Dixie Foods. "Just look at the back of most packaging in the frozen food aisle today—even products labeled 'natural' often contain 30 plus ingredients, many of them unnecessary additions like natural flavors, acids and gums. We believe in simplicity, using the handful of real ingredients you can find in your kitchen. Our new Bagel Sandwich and Parker Rolls continue our commitment to foods you crave without compromise."
Bagel Sandwich delivers protein, clean ingredients
As consumers look for ways to add more protein options into their diet, Mason Dixie’s new Bagel Sandwich delivers 19 g of protein, no preservatives, and only simple ingredients, the brand says. The sandwich features a warm, toasty whole-grain bagel stacked with a real egg, melty cheddar cheese, and savory chicken sausage.
Pull-apart Parker Rolls aim to answer consumer demand for quality frozen bakery
The frozen bakery category continues to outpace overall frozen food growth, driven by rising consumer demand for convenience without compromising quality, the brand notes. Mason Dixie's new Pull-Apart Parker Rolls strive to meet this need while continuing the brand's innovation of delivering fresh-from-the-oven quality out of a microwave with taste that rivals restaurant and artisan bakery options, the brand says.
The Parker Rolls are available in two flavors: Garlic Parmesan Butter and Sweet Honey Butter, made with all-butter brioche dough topped with creamy butter. With 12 rolls in a ready-to-heat tray, the rolls go from microwave to table in just three minutes.
Retail distribution expands
Mason Dixie Foods is doubling down on efforts to expand frozen breakfast distribution as retailer demand continues. The brand has expanded its footprint at retailers including HEB, Costco, Market Basket, and Whole Foods Market. The company will showcase their latest innovations at Expo West Booth N508, North Hall Level 100 in Anaheim, CA from March 4-6.
The Bagel Sandwich will be available in the frozen aisle starting this April at Whole Foods Market (SRP $4.49 per 1-ct box). The Parker Rolls are available starting February 25 for a limited time at Whole Foods Market (SRP $12.99 per 12-ct box).
