Regional U.S. chain Randy's Donuts (which also has international locations) is selling a Mother's Day Donut, through May 10, which features "Mom" piped across the top in white icing, turning a simple treat into a personalized moment of appreciation. For those who prefer a bit of spice, through July 31 the brand is offering a Mango Tajín Donut, a mango-coated glazed doughnut finished with Tajín. Additionally, it is offering a BOGO (buy one get one free) offer on any classic doughnut, in-store, through May 17, for teachers, healthcare workers, and first responders, as part of its Community Appreciation Days. 

Shipley Donuts offers Mom-lettered creations

As Shipley Donuts prepares for the upcoming holiday, the brand is leaning into a high-touch, personalized strategy to capture Mother’s Day gift-giving traffic, it says. Its featured offering for the holiday is a limited-edition "Mom" doughnut box, featuring yeast doughnuts handcrafted into letter shapes, frosted in strawberry, chocolate, and white icing and finished with spring-themed sprinkles. While many QSR brands rely on simple flavor rotations for holidays, Shipley is utilizing a more labor-intensive, handmade approach to offer a personalized product that competes directly with traditional floral and confectionary gifts, it notes.

Tous les Jours celebrates, honors mothers

This Mother's Day, Tous les Jours is aiming to help celebrate and honor the special mothers in consumers' lives with a new lineup of cakes and pastries. Launched on May 1, the k-bakery is celebrating with k-flavored desserts featuring light, airy textures and elegant hues, blending French pastry craftsmanship. Options include the Caramel Bouquet Cake (a white sheet cake with caramel cream, topped with pink and peach buttercream tulips); an Ube Cloud Cream Donut (sugar-coated doughnut with nutty ube cloud cream filling and topped with a pearl decoration); and an Ube Spiral Croissant, including flaky croissant dough filled with nutty ube cloud cream filling, dipped with an ube white chocolate coating, and topped with a white flower.

Through May 10, Krispy Kreme is serving up its Minis for Mom Collection, bite-sized treats to spread the love for moms and mother figures everywhere. The collection includes two new doughnuts: Mini Strawberries and Crème and Mini Heart of Gold Doughnut, plus the return of two others, Mini Original Glazed and Mini Chocolate Iced Doughnut with Sprinkles Doughnut. The brand's Minis for Mom Collection is available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via its app and website, individually and in a specialty 16-count box, featuring four of each doughnut.

Pinkbox Doughnuts aims to make Mother's Day sweeter

Pinkbox Doughnuts' Mother’s Day lineup will be available for purchase at all of its shops for two days only this Saturday and Sunday (May 9 and 10). A sampling of the 12 treats available includes: MOM (pink frosted "M"); XOXO (pink frosted doughnut topped with Mother's Day sprinkles, and when paired with the pink frosted “M” spells out MOM); Sweet Daisy (a yellow frosted daisy-shaped doughnut topped with daisy décor); Mom's Pinky (vanilla cake topped with vanilla buttercream, covered in pink icing with candy décor, a red rosette, and Happy Mother's Day décor); Hi Mom (pink frosted "ube" cake topped with Mother's Day sprinkles); and Mom's Pee Weez (glazed pink velvet cake doughnut holes with Mother's Day sprinkles).
