Product Snapshot: Canyon Bakehouse has launched new Stay-Fresh Packaging for three products, which will be available at Walmart and also for online purchase beginning November 2017. It will roll out to other retailers in early 2018. 

The Stay-Fresh Packaging is convenient for retailers who have tight windows where baked goods remain fresh on store shelves. Walmart will be the first retailer to offer Canyon Bakehouse’s new packaging with two new loaves: Ancient Grain and Country White as well as new Deli White Bagels. 

Consumers benefit from being able to stock up on their favorite gluten-free breads and bagels without having to occupy valuable space in their home freezers. These loaves will stay fresh in a pantry and are ideal for travel as well. In addition to the shelf-stable products, Canyon Bakehouse’s classic 7-Grain and Mountain White gluten-free breads will also be available in the freezer at select Walmart stores.

Like all Canyon Bakehouse baked goods, these breads and bagels are made with whole grains, and are certified gluten-free, Kosher, and free from dairy, soy, nuts (peanut and tree nuts), casein and sesame. They are also GMO free and free from artificial colors, sweeteners, and preservatives. 

The Stay-Fresh Packaging is air-tight and when baked goods are secure in the sealed package they can stay fresh for up to 90 days post-production. Once the packaging is opened, the bread should be consumed within five days. A “best by” date will be printed on each closure tag. The new products will also be available for online purchase at CanyonGlutenFree.com beginning November 2017 and will roll out to other retailers in early 2018. The suggested retailer price is $5.49.
