Hardee’s announces Biscuit Baker finalists
The four competitors will make the brand's proprietary biscuits to earn a $10,000 prize.

Creating Hardee’s Made From Scratch biscuits requires tradition, skill, and attention to detail.
This fall, four Hardee’s bakers will compete for top honors at the national Hardee’s Biscuit Baker Competition, held at CKE Restaurants’ headquarters in Franklin, TN.
Finalists were selected through local and regional contests and will compete on Thursday, Oct. 16, for the 2025 Biscuit Baker Champion title and a $10,000 cash prize. The event also serves as an annual recertification in Hardee’s proprietary biscuit-making procedures.
This year’s finalists are:
- Clint Adkins, Bedford, IN, New Beginnings Restaurant Group LLC
- Tammy Getchey, Headland, AL, Phase 3 Star LLC
- Amanda McIntosh, Dayton, TN, J&S Restaurants Inc.
- Martha Mahaffey, Jefferson, NC, Mountain Star LLC
“Goodness in the Making starts with people. Hardee's biscuit bakers put the goodness into breakfast, and their dedication is felt in every fresh batch they bake before dawn,” says Tony D’Amico, president of Hardee’s. “This competition highlights their expertise and commitment to perfecting the golden color, the fluffy texture, and the perfect taste of every biscuit. We’re proud to recognize these outstanding team members as they reach the final round.”
To qualify, bakers were required to prepare 52 biscuits in 15 minutes, demonstrating mastery of Hardee’s biscuit standards. Hardee’s Made From Scratch biscuits are available daily at locations nationwide.
