The puffed and extruded snacks category is having a great year: all of its subcategories are up from the same time period last year, per Circana data, and consumers are returning to gatherings where snacks like Cheetos, Funyuns, and other snacks are omnipresent.

Frito-Lay, aka its parent company, PepsiCo, has revealed a lineup of new products at this year's NACS show.

Better-for-you snack brand Snack’in For You by Sigma Foods will introduce its product line of vegetable-based, high-protein baked puffs at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show in Atlanta October 4–6 at booth #C8159.

Little Spoon is reinventing nostalgic childhood favorites with junk-free, balanced, and nutritious recipes including snacks free from artificial flavoring, synthetic colors, high fructose corn syrup, and trans fats.

The crispy snacks include real organic veggies and fruit, and are certified organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and Kosher.
