ABA Safety Recognition Program sees record participation
In 2025, 28 member companies were honored by the bakery org.

The American Bakers Association Safety Recognition Program has awarded 28 member companies across 181 facilities for their effective safety programs in 2025. Participation in the program continues to grow, with a 14% increase in member company participation this year.
All award recipients were recognized onstage during a dedicated ceremony and invited to an Awardee Reception at the 2026 ABA Convention on Wednesday, April 22.
“We’re proud to recognize the commercial baking industry’s commitment to safety,” says Eric Dell, president and CEO of ABA. “Our members are continuously reinforcing their strong safety cultures, investing in their people, and setting a high standard for operational excellence. This program not only celebrates those achievements but emphasizes the dedication to protecting the people who power our industry.”
Advancing ABA’s strategic goal of establishing the industry as a destination workplace, the Safety Recognition Program honors member facilities that demonstrate strong safety performance and a proactive approach to safety and health management systems. The program promotes greater workplace safety awareness and emphasizes employee safety in the commercial baking industry.
